medieval town centre is only 20 meters away from the 12th century cathedral
and the historical piazza. Todi, as being considered an art city, offers regularly cultural events besides bars and cafès and interesting art work.
Inside the town walls of Todi you'll immerge yourself in history and forget about everything that has to do with busy life, it's simply calm, relaxing and holds a great fascination for you. The apartment itself is on the groundfloor of a 3-story Roman and Medieval house reconstructed in the 17th century and around the house you'll find these charming little, narrow streets where you might think to get lost in history with antique buidlings, arches, wells and you'll always explore something new.
Apartment Alba is to rent for 1 or 2 persons. It's position is 130km from Rome, 45km from Perugia (capital of Umbria) and 60 km from Assisi which makes it convenient to consider short trips to Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Orvieto, Florence, Siena and Rome, all easily reachable by car, train or bus.

Activities
Nearby town sightseeing combined with nature walking is surely one of the most relaxing activities. For short trips you can either use trains or busses or go by car. Car renting is provided by several agencies.
Typical sport activities are horse-riding, tennis and climbing. By the time bike rides are getting more and more popular and renting bikes is possible.
Todi offers a lot of cultural activities and events during the year such as "Todi Festival", "Umbria Jazz", "Festival dei due mondi a Spoleto" and many others.
Consider to see art work production such as ceramic art at Deruta, inlay and resetauration work and also wine and olive vintages.
Outdoor facilities in Todi
As in many Umbrian art cities Todi itself offers a lot of walking possibilities with wonderful views and interesting antique reminders, such as rests of the etruscan and roman townwall, churches and buildings, cafès and bars and an interesting museum. As being the native city of Jacopone, the first Italian writing poet born in the 12th century Todi is often called the city of Jacopone.
You can easily do shopping in the center or go to one of the supermarkets outside the townwalls. A lavandry is in 3 minutes walking distance from the apartment.
Regard parking in Todi you're generally allowed to enter the historic center by car to go the apartment and put out you're luggage. There are also charged public parking lots near the rental property, directly attached to the piazza for short term parking. The easiest way for longer accommodation by car is a huge charged parking lot in 'porta orvietana' perfectly connected by a lift and in 6 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Otherwise there are free parking spaces near the "Consolation Church" which take about 15 minutes by feet.
